You guys, this pizza/pasta is amazing. I'm currently in the restaurant, where unfortunately this very drunk and irate man came in and made every women in the restaurant EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. From the moment he walked in, he was approaching every women inappropriately. When he approached the wrong women, she asked the employees to help her, and they politely asked him to leave (AFTER REFUNDING HIS ORDER BECAUSE APPARENTLY IT TOOK TO LONG, EVEN THO HE HADN'T BEEN HERE FOR 20 MINUTES). He become extremely mad, and thus why he left the childish review he did.
Please do not believe the review left by Al J, it's extremely childish and untrue. I dine in often and I never see anything short of amazing food, and excellent customer service. It's a**holes like that, that make Yelp inaccurate.
They have great lunch deals and stay open late, perfect for both dining in during the day and late night munchies. -

They don't make slices like you would think but let me explain ... you walk in at 10:30 AM and which slices they have ready and they point to a list that couldn't possibly be fresh but maybe they just eat the cost and make some early morning slices ?
Nope. What they do here is par-bake/perhaps blind bake a crust, and then they they dump on the toppings for whichever pizza you order. This resulted is an actually decent piece of pizza but it's in NO WAY a true authentic slice and for 4.99 I expect my slice to be part of a pizza . It's has a completely separate flavor than you'd ever suspect not being part of a whole pie. The cheese was barely melted and the red onion and black olive had zero heat on them. I appreciate the concept of a "made by the slice ," mentality but it needs to be refined and also I shouldn't wait 10 minutes for ONE slice of the works . -

Disappointed in the people of this great city San Diego... I'll keep my story short, I have been on a personal mission to find the best pizza in the USA! I travel about 100 days a year and review all of the pizza places visit. So I'm visiting San Diego and order from Florencia just a small 10 inch delivery. Waited... waited... and waited... never got my pizza I tried calling the shop and got no answer, called again got placed on hold, called again and the phone was picked up and hung up right away... . Mind you they have already charged my credit card... so I wait till the next day and call again argue with the woman who answers and long story short I am not getting my money back and I am not getting another pizza... and she hung up.
STAY AWAY! They are rude and might just decide to not deliver your pizza too! -

This place really stands out for me. Every time I've come in here it's right after I just finished going to the clubs with friends and ready to mack down on some food. There is always a massive line to get food anywhere from 1:30am- 2:00am. So they get all the drunks and the stoners waiting for their munchies.
Incredibly, for having to deal with so much from customers, they are extremely nice and always seem to have a lot of patience. I can't speak for the day crew but the late night crew A+.
The first time I came here I had pepperoni pizza with a jalapeño poppers for the table. I normally don't like jalapeño popper but theirs were super gooey and delicious. There pizza is better than Mr Motos around the corner.
The second time I came, my table got pizza and wings. OMG, Just a quick warning ,their wings will ruin other wings for you. I was in aw. Yes the pizza was good like always but the entire table was sad when the wings were gone. They were cooked so perfectly. The flavor of their buffalo sauce was outstanding and original with a twist that I couldn't put my finger on. Definitely need to come again for the wings. Drooling just thinking about it.
They have a huge rack of cups on the wall that you can walk up and grab yourself a cup of water. A nice big cup, none of those super cheap and small cups that fall apart that they hand out at other restaurants.
Their bathrooms are always clean as well as the establishment. Overall I'm always impressed with this place. Can't say anything negative about it. -

Florencia Ristorante Pizza .The scent of Italy's best kitchen filled the air with aromatic delight. The lunch menu being today's choice,I started with a glass of Pinot Grigio. Pear/apricot fruity top . Walnut base. Citrus bottom. Cheers to the Pino Grigio! The antipasto salad was Devine . House dressing was a home run. Florencia's thick sliced garlic bread comes with the salad . This is what lovin' what we eat is all about! Lisa C.
